Dave Marlow
Consultant
Dave Marlow is a chartered accountant with
extensive financial training experience
across all levels of organizations from
many industries.
Dave graduated from Oxford University in
1992 with an honors degree in Engineering,
Economics and Management. After an interesting
but brief spell as an offshore oilfield
engineer, he joined Coopers and Lybrand
in 1995, where, as part of the Banking and
Capital Markets group, his audit clients
included a number of large retail banks.
Shortly after qualifying as a Chartered
Accountant in 1998, Dave transferred to
the PricewaterhouseCoopers Client Training
Group, where he worked closely with clients
on the design, development and delivery
of finance related training programmes,
as well as advising on higher level strategic
training matters.
In 2003 Dave was seconded to the technical
accounting department of PwC, responsible
for resolving the more complex IFRS and
UK GAAP issues identified by the audit teams
in the field. This two year assignment enabled
him to develop further as a financial trainer,
and to build up a technical specialism in
the area of accounting for financial instruments.
At BG Consulting, Dave specialises in training
accounting and financial analysis courses
for major financial institutions. |
